All the photo's I've found that look most like my boat are StarCraft boats or Montgomery Wards 'Sea King' of the 60's. If you’ve ever needed to search for information on older boats you know how confusing it is to find any information and even the parts dept. People aren’t much help at times. Boats for Sale. TheGrocerboy: Hi, not sure I understand the question.what about neutral? This one doesn't have it, just like yours. My Atlas 5hp motor has a clutch shift, but I prefer the basic motors. I can help you find parts if needed.
JHBell midwestdipper: Hi there, I have a 1948 seaking 5 hp models 84GG9014A serial number 211789 seems very similar to yours, were I'd the neutral switch? Thanks for the video!

Yours is much better looking than mine. MrCharlieCom: I used to own a 1951 Montgomery Ward Sea King 5 HP. It used one half pint of oil per gallon of gas. At that fuel ratio, it tended to foul the spark plugs quite often (especially at low speeds). Be sure to take a plug wrench with you and spare spark plugs. Other than that, it was a really good little engine.
OVER THE TOP: Ok i posted a video of my seaking 5. Hope it shows enough OVER THE TOP: I will post a video when i get a chance thanks TheGrocerboy: Most oiling info should be on the ID plate at the front of the transom clamp. If you post a video I'd like to know where to look for it. JHBell OVER THE TOP: Thats is very helpful to know since i just bought a seaking5 and i wasnt sure what ratio to use. But most people use the 16:1. Rivht now i got the 24:1 in my motor which some people say is fine but i will be switching to 16:1.
Thanks for your help TheGrocerboy: This motor uses a ratio of 16:1, eight ounces per gallon. OVER THE TOP: What is your fuel mix ratio TheGrocerboy: Hi Andrew, please contact me at [email protected] so that I can help out. Regards.John Andrew Henseler: hi I have one just like it where does the water come out of it i dont know if the pump is working because i cant find where the water comes out please help. TheGrocerboy: Hi.it says speed range above, then off slow start fast.
These decals are available in reproduction. JHBell Dalton Russell: at 0:31 when you reach for the knob, what does it say right above it?
